Big changes for 2019

18 Feb 2019

Following an unusually amicable AGM, a number of outrageous changes were agreed to the club structure.

Probably the most revolutionary in the history of this website was the decison to have one person as the Saturday 1st XI captain and a different person for the Sunday captain.

This bold decison has come about because it seems the club is now awash with mugs, sorry I mean eager people, who are prepared to do all the necessary chasing, ego massaging, lying and outright bullying of people in order to get at least one side out on both days of the weekend.

Even more outrageously, we are planning to operate the Saturday 2nd XI, playing friendly games in the first half of the season.

John Cheeseman Jnr will continue leading the Saturday 1st XIs plummet down the league divisions and George Hutchinson will take over the high pressure role as captain of the Sunday team.

No captain has been formally elected for the 2nd XI but it is likely to be one of the clubs numerous specialist wicket keeper/bowlers that can't bat very well
